John Farmer, Financial Advisor
John was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He moved to Arizona to attend college in 1988, fell in love with the Southwest and decided to stay. He received his bachelor's degree in 1992 and went on to receive his M.A. in Education from Prescott College.
John was first licensed as a financial advisor in 2007. John believes in helping each person become confident in assessing his or her financial circumstances and goals. He is able to provide clear, easily understood explanations of financial products and services. He currently holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and is licensed in the state of Arizona as a Life, Health, and Variable insurance producer.
John has worked as a dedicated educator for over three decades. His love of teaching, academics, and research eventually led him to the financial services industry. He has served on the Board of Directors for Yavapai Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The Central Arizona Land Trust, The Granite Dells Preservation Foundation and the Natural History Institute.
When he is not in the office, he enjoys fishing, mountain biking, skiing, adventuring, cooking, and good conversation.
