Jodi Padgett, CFP®

Jodi O. Padgett has worked with founder Charlie Taylor since 1983 and is inspired by all that financial planning entails—the people and relationships, the educating, wealth building and tax planning. While the financial planning industry has evolved immensely over the years, Jodi finds the continuing education rewarding and challenging. She takes to heart one of the founding principles of the firm: striving to partner with people who want to make wise decisions about money and who endeavor to leave a legacy, both personal and financial.

Jodi holds a B.A. in Business and an M.S. in Financial Planning.   She holds Arizona Life, Health & Variable insurance licenses and holds her Series 7 registration.  Jodi has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) since 1988.

Jodi participates in many area nonprofits and activities and enjoys her involvement in the in the community. She was an advisory board member of the Yavapai County Community Foundation, sat on the Investment Committee of the Arizona Community Foundation for fifteen years, sat on the Governing Board Member of the Arizona Community Foundation, and was Board Member of the Highlands Center for Natural History for many years. In November of 2010, she was awarded the Philanthropist Leadership Award of Yavapai County. These participations and many more, along with her desire for people to believe in and plan for their legacy are probably why Jodi sometimes refers to herself as a “philanthropist in progress”. Being a breast cancer survivor, Jodi has also participated in many of the 3-day 60-mile fundraiser walks and plans to continue to support breast cancer research and prevention in any way she can.

Jodi lives in Skull Valley – about 15 miles west of Prescott, Arizona. Her hobbies include work (yes…she knows that isn’t actually a hobby!) and delights in all that goes into the world of growing wine grapes and is a partner in Painted Lady Vineyard. She loves to read and has been a member of a small book club for over two decades. She enjoys the outdoors—hiking, running, and paddle boarding with her two goldens. She has one married son who currently resides and enjoys life with his little ones in Prescott.
